As a pharmaceutical company headquartered in Kyoto, Nippon Shinyaku is engaged in activities to preserve and maintain Kyoto culture.
As part of this effort, since 1954, the company has been publishing Kyo, a quarterly magazine with original pictures on the cover and a calendar composed of original pictures created using dyeing techniques such as Katae Dyeing and Rouketsu Dyeing, featuring scenes and events in Kyoto.
We hope that you will feel the four seasons of Kyoto through the works of the teachers at the Kyoto Gallery, which introduces more than 300 original paintings.
