KYOTO, Japan, July 1, 2025  - Nippon Shinyaku Co., Ltd. (Nippon Shinyaku; Headquarters, Kyoto; President, Toru Nakai) announced that Nippon Shinyaku and Boston Children's Hospital (Headquarters: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; Boston Children’s, Chief Executive Officer: Kevin B. Churchwell) entered a strategic alliance with the aim of developing and delivering innovative therapies for rare diseases.

Nippon Shinyaku is committed to open innovation with the goal of creating distinctive medicines. Through this collaboration, we will invite research proposals from Boston Children’s researchers focused on developing innovative treatments for rare diseases - one of our key areas of focus. We will select innovative proposals for joint research and advance the collaboration by leveraging the combined expertise and knowledge of both Nippon Shinyaku and Boston Children’s.
