Nippon Shinyaku Selected as a Constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series
Kyoto, Japan, July 18, 2025 - Nippon Shinyaku Co., Ltd. (Nippon Shinyaku; Headquarters, Kyoto; President, Toru Nakai) announced that it has been selected for the second consecutive year as a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series, which is a global index series for an environmental, social and governance (ESG) investment.
The FTSE4Good Index Series, created by the global index and data provider FTSE Russell, is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. The FTSE4Good indexes are used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products.
In addition to the above, Nippon Shinyaku has been selected as a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Index and the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index for the third and fourth consecutive years, respectively. Both are ESG investment indices for Japanese stocks adopted by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF).
Nippon Shinyaku will work to strengthen five management foundations in the 7th Five-Year Medium-Term Management Plan, which began in FY2024, as shown below. To promote sustainability management for realizing a sustainable society, we will aim to solve social issues through our business activities, and realize sustainable growth for the company.
