Impact of the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake

Nippon Shinyaku Co., Ltd. would like to express its deepest sympathy for the sufferers of the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake, which devastated the region on March 11, 2011.
Below is our current situation on the impact of the earthquake.

We have confirmed that all of our group’s employees are safe, although we have some offices in the devastated areas, Tohoku and Kanto regions.
At our main manufacturing base Odawara Central Factory (Odawara, Kanagawa), the buildings were slightly damaged but production activities are not affected. At other facilities in the affected area, the buildings were not significantly damaged except for some indoor scattering.
We anticipate the impact of “planned outage” by Tokyo Electric Power Company and some logistic problems in the future, but we do our best to minimize the impact on our business and to stably provide our products.
